Peek of the week 16 - Civil Rights - the USA

This week we take a peek at the Civil Rights Movement in the USA. Right now I'm in the process of planning some lessons around this theme for my ninth grade. After their national tests we'll learn more about this topic. Following are some really good links to material that'll be of good use during the lessons, and we'll start off with an infographic about the Civil Rights timeline. The lessons will finish with Alice Walkers' mesmerizing short story "Flowers".
